| Description | Edward (at some point in canon, preferably around Obsidian Butterfly) gets Donna pregnant and asks Anita to be the godmother. She accepts and even attends the infant girl's birth... cue Big Evil's entrance. Someone from either Edward's or Anita's past kidnaps the kiddie and takes her to an alternate dimension where she grows up to be the Buffy we all know and love. As time runs differently across the borders of space and magic, by the time the doting gun-toting daddy finds his little girl she's all growed up. You can choose when in BtVS canon he finds the Buffster. Could be early in season one or even post season seven, I would prefer a younger Buffy (that way she can bound with Peter). Could even be possible that he finds her in the 'hell' from season two. Requirements: 1) Buffy goes back to the Anita-verse as either the Slayer or some other sort of powerful being. Maybe she can't take the Slayer-spirit with her but she keeps her connection to death and becomes a necromancer/animator like her godmother, it's up to you. 2) At some point Buffy must either join Edward on a hunt, or assist Anita in an investigation. I would prefer to see the former, with some character development and a little father/daughter bonding - but it's up to you. 3) Buffy MUST call Anita 'godmummy'. Do NOT want to see: 1) Buffy paired with Peter/Edward/Jean-Claude/Asher/Micah/Nathaniel or Damien. They are all either related to her in squicky ways or already belong to Anita. There are plenty of other boys in those books if you must have a pairing. Pick one of them. 2) Scooby-bashing. Heck, if the story takes place post-season four then I'd like to see Buffy try to explain to Edward how he lost one daughter and regained two. You could even have one (but no more than two) of the Scoobies make the trip with her and settle down in Anita-land. Have fun! |
