i stayed up all night to read this, it was that good

This story was amazing. I don't know what else to say other than, wow. If I get into specifics of what I loved this review will go on forever. But I have to say that this line, "You know I love Buffy, but if you ask her to find you a Ducati you’re going to receive either two stuffed toy felines or a cap with a mallard on it and a puzzled note," still has me almost on the floor laughing.

First off you owe me three nights of sleep because I pretty much had to motor through everything after finishing this story. I'll accept cash, credit cards, sugar free snacks (stoopid $*#&ing diabetes) and new chapters - which ever is most convenient for you.

Secondly, just so damn good... I especially enjoy that the SVU folks don't become instant best friends. There's a clear and insurmountable difference between people who spend a large amount of their time trying to protect young girls and people who - at least in the eyes of the SVU-ers, send young girls out to fight and occasionally die.

Lastly... Just really, really good. I've read a great deal of Xander oriented stories where he quickly progresses from Zeppo to stripper to international jet setting / highlander style immortal / super hero / wizard / Jedi / demi-god - usually over the course of one summer hiatus. And while they're fun and entertaining reads, it's nice to see a more "realistic" depiction where he's still Xander, but a clearly adult Xander - and on top of that one who has paid and continues to pay the price for living the life he leads.

Still excellent. It occurs to me I don't think Xander and Faith ever discussed their past (season 3) history in any of your stories. I'd love to see you tackle that at some point, if you're so inclined.
