This is a really funny story. I hope that you decide to continue it because personally I wouldn't mind seeing how Xander deals with books 4-6 (even though I hated 6 and 7).

I liked how you picked up the Harry-in-Sunnydale thread so that we'd know just how far back Harry had arrived so that it changed the timeline so that Jesse and Tara survived. I don't quite get the weird OOC anti-Buffy rant in the first chapter but this is great! The way your weaving it all together with the flashes of Harry in Sunnyhell and the characters of Xander and Sirius make lots of fun reading.

Cant wait for an update.

Hopefully he won't use his knowledge too openly, or Lucius/Snape might figure out the prophecy is about him, not someone 'new' ...(also the prophecy saying 'will kick his ass' might be literal, ie Xander kicks V., then Voldy turns around and kills him or something....ie it's not a guarantee of victory in itself)---
* If Spike exists in this timeline, is there still a "Spike" in the Buffy universe? If they're too similar, somebody might make a connection somehow--
* I don't see how Willow could make herself 'fix' this, knowing it would kill Tara and Jesse to do it....maybe they could switch back after both achieve their tasks ie HP at end of S7, Xander after Voldy is defeated? It sounds like both have things in their lives they'd like fixed.....

The prophecy can be taken literally and Xander would look forward to literally kicking Voldie's arse if he knew about it. He also knows how to get through a fight which is something he wants to teach his friends as well. Concerning Spike, I really don't know what's happening there but according to Xander, the resemblance between Malfoy and Spike is uncanny. About Willow, she's flipping out over that very reason. She remembers Xander and wants to get him back but...but...Tara and Jesse! ::sniff:: Who knows what will happen there?

I stumbled upon this story and read it with great interest. Very well written and I like how Xander-as-Harry is using his maturity/knowledge to slowly improve his 13-year-old self (although not too mature, as, after all, he's still Xander). Similarly it would seem Harry-as-Xander has changed the BVS timeline and allowed Jesse and Tara both to live.
One question: in this chapter, Draco enters the train compartment and says "Potty and Weasel". Shouldn't that instead be some play on Harris, "and Weasel" ?

I'm glad you enjoyed the story so far. I don't expect Xander to act too mature but he is mentally 25 and that will come out now and again, usually when Dumbledore tries to manipulate him. Thanks for pointing out the the Potty comment. I did use some dialog from the books and it kinda sneaked in. I corrected it.
