I'm so glad that you are still enjoying the story despite the demise of Sirius. I have to say, deciding to kill him off was not easy. It was very hard to come to the decision that he was worth more to the story dead then alive. As for ships, there will be the cannon ones (Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny) plus at least one new one that I'm not ready to give away the details yet. Not to mention there will be flashbacks of past relationships that had happened before they time traveled. Even the romance will be dark and angsty....I'm so cruel to the characters. Thank you much for the kind words. I really wanted Ron and Faith to be displayed as multi-dimensional characters. I love both of them and wanted to create something where they were not just a cliche of themselves.

Great again. The Lara Croft parts still have me in stitches, although I am a bit disappointed that Sirius couldn't be revived. i was half hoping that that was what the chapter title referred to ... And powerful writing there in the end, in the scene with Harry and Ron. I normally can't stand Ron, but you have really made him grow on me.

Killing Sirius was a very difficult decision, but I told myself when I first starting writing the story that I was not going to hold back because I like the character. I'm glad that Ron has grown on you. I've found that there are quite a few people who dislike him. So, when I started writing, I made sure to not make him a cliche of what other authors have done. I had kind of hoped that Sirius would be saved, but after all the build up about saving him, it was a bold move to not save him. Definitely a common theme in time travel stories is the immutability of some events. Anyway, now you've got to deal with all Harry's emotional fall-out, but I think you're up to it.

Nice little tidbit about DD and the slayer in WWII. It's canon from AtS that the Germans used (or at least tried to use) Vampires during the war. It might be a nice little side story there.

Even though I was writing the chapter, I was also kind of hoping that Sirius would be saved. But I told myself when I started the story that I wouldn't hold back, and sadly, Sirius was worth more to the story dead then alive. I'm glad you like the bits about WWII. Brilliant story so far. It is original and very well written. I just cursed when that avada kedavra came out of nowhere. On the good side, that means you sucked me into your world with your writing. On the bad side -since Sirius is one of my favourite HP characters- I just really really hope that you are going to find some smart way to revive him. Especially because I am holding out high hopes for him and Faith to fall in luuuurve.

just found this story. started tracking it so please update soonest can't wait. it would be nice if you could save Sirius but if not what has to be has to be. if death has you on his list he's going to get you one way or the other. as they say "the Jackal god cannot play favorites" so maybe Sirius dieing is what has to happen to draw Tommy-boy out so Dumbledore can keep him in the open long enough for that idiot Fudge to see him and accept the Truth.so great story thought for a while you might get Padfoot out but great job so far.

Oh wow, you have no idea how much I hate you now! I love this story, love it so much, the tone and flow of it is superb. But to save Sirius in one way only to kill him in another? Should have known you'd do that...
