A very nice and entertaining story, but it does leave you with a bit of sadness. Very well written and the characters are very true to the originals.

I resisted reading this (because I'm trying to read your series in mostly chronological order), but I couldn't wait, finally. I have to say that I appreciate the ambiguity and the darker side of Lorelei's predicament, especially since I too have wondered where the loving, charming, soul-full Lorelei went, ever since her relationship with Luke started to become all about him making her feel better and dancing to her time-tables, rather than any kind of real mutuality. They're trying to pull it back out of the fire now, but that whole Christopher thing was a nightmare.

Meanwhile, I was fascinated by seeing the deeper and sometimes very much darker side of the Xander- and Faith-imposters society, as well as Giles' eventual ruling on their fate. And hurray for Dawnie as Giles' heir-apparent, even if it does give him the wiggins in the middle of the night sometimes.

Robin Wood is the son of Slayer Nikki. The scoobies knows that and wouldn't have wondered if it was possible.

I'm sorry, you are right. I didn't even consider Robin being born pre-calling. I always just assumed it was post calling because slayers are called so young. I don't recall canon making it (pre or post) clear either.

Felt that I had to put that in as I don't know that it was ever clear whether Robin was conceived/born before or after Nikki was called. Still, your point is taken and I've added a line to make it clear that Nikki was not forgotten.

I didn't even realize you'd finished this, but man what a ride! I feel so bad for Luke and Lorelai, and the twist with the Gilmore family demon was interesting. And I did love Vanessa getting to meet her idol. Wyndham was also a cute touch.

I am afraid I don't get the asp thing, though.

The accredited creator; and reputed iron-handed showrunner and chief writer of Gilmore Girls for the first six seasons was Amy Sherman-Palladino, comonly known as ASP... Yeah, I know, not a hip-slapper, but it gave me the idea.....

I generally pay little attention to backstage stuff ... but one of the reasons that GG is so fascinating that, while most shows go down the tubes when the creative people move on or the network interferes, ASP seems to have destroyed her own show, some allege, deliberately...

Very good story. It fits very well into the world you are creating. Quite an interesting take on the "Gilmore world". I'm a little sad, the XLHs were disbanded; they were so much fun. A hard, but unavoidable choice.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series - it was mostly lighter, and fun. The 'b' plot with the kids looking for the real faith was cute, and reminded me of a bit out of a gordon korman book.

Very good and oddly touching story even for someone who has never watched a GG episode. The whole idea of a XLH society is hillarious. Even though Giles was right and the society clearly was hurting the Scoobies reputation if demons thought they could be paid protection money, I still felt sorry for them.

Good ending, it fit the story very well. I enjoyed it, and I totally agree with the patheticness that is the current season of GG. ARGH!!! How could they do that?! Anyway, I loved the story, and just about lol'ed when Kirk was revealed as a demon. It explains so much. Hee hee. Anyway, good job.
