It would have been a very good plan if not for the fact that the intended victim was Logan, later to be known as Wolverine. But as it WAS that Logan, well... it didn't go as planned.
Let us all take a moment of non-sympathy for hung-over Angelus who didn't get to vamp someone, and furthermore woke up hung over and laying underneath a table, probably on and around broken crockery.

I normally don't read X-men fics because I don't know the characters well, but you've done a really great job with these two. I'm really getting a sense of who Logan is and reading your Angel is like watching the flashbacks in the show. I hope you continue with this story.

lol.... I should leave it as 'complete', I really should.
But I was sitting at my computer today, thinking 'hmm, I should update something, or at least work on writing more of something that's in progress'. And I got some of Guest Starring sent off to get beta'd, and wrote up this. Inspiration didn't come for Tangled Plans, or APAT, or any of a dozen other things that really needed another part, it wanted to play more here.
sigh. Inspiration can be so fickle.
