Oh what a wonderful addition to the "Life of Brian" Series. It remains one of my favorites. I just discovered you've finished "Chasing Amy" and am off to re-read and finish it. I enjoyed this insight into Snape - being perfectly Snape admist everything Muggle. Snape & Joyce being married by an Elvis impersonator was a nice touch.

You seem to have a special touch when it comes to Snape. Your vision of him is 'dark' not 'evil' and I think that, among other things, makes him a richer character.

I really liked the "original" episode to the story, but fleshing it out the way you just did adds a new dimension and more depth to the original story... makes the "event" starting LoB that much more poignant too.
