Wow. Well, that's an interesting twist. Aang being Buffy's son. That certainly ruins whatever illusions I had of them being together, but somehow it doesn't upset me much. It certainly makes things more interesting. Though it must feel weird for Buffy, to know that her son is a reincarnation of her husband. Anyways, yay for the update, but I wish they were either longer or more frequent.

Sorry to ruin your illusions. Interesting, exactly what I had in mind. I'm giggling in a slightly manic and evil way, by the way. Think about how weird it'll be for Aang, he's her son and the reincarnation of her husband. Sounds a bit incestuous, even though it's not.

They chapters will be more frequent because 1) not doing summer session and 2) I don't have to work. And some will probably be longer.

First of all, thank you so much for updating! Squee! Second of all, thank you for the sneak peak; it totally made me squeal! I know you said that there would be no pairings in book 1, but I wouldn't mind some hints of aang/buffy, heehee. Anyways, good job, and I hope you update soon!

So glad that I could make you squee and for the sneak peak...well, I most definitely won't be able to update till after finals...so May 10, which I feel bad about. Therefore, the sneak peak. You shall be glad to note that I'm not doing summer session nor am I working this summer. So besides doing chores around the house for my mom, I can dedicate myself to this story and some others that I'm working on.

Hate to burst your bubble, but no aang/buffy in this series. Who could I possibly pair Buffy with? Hmmm! But I really have to stop slacking off and work on papers, readings and prjects (OH MY) for my classes.

I think you've lost the spirit of both shows. Why are they immortal? Why do they have all that power? You've explained why Buffy and Faith and Willow can bend all four elements, but it's a little forced. You're making the out to be gods, and they're not supposed to be.

EDIT: It's not that I meant to be offensive, but, what else do you call apparent immortals with their level of power? You did say Faith took on a Fire Nation fleet by herself. That's not something a mere mortal could do.

I appreciate your comments, but I do not agree with you. Here's why.

I don't think, I've lost the spirit of either shows. Not everyone interprets the same people or situations as another person. I probably see the people and situations from Buffy and Avatar in a completely different light than you do. Why, because I'm a different person with different experiences and views.

My characterization is a bit off, but than again. They've been alive for three centuries. People are bound to change, bonds are going to weaken, if not be completely broken. It happens in real life and in a shorter time span than that.

As to why they are immortal and have all that power. That still has to be explained. There are many things that still have to be explained.

If anything, I take offense to your last comment. Buffy, Willow and Faith are not gods just because they have a lot of power does not make them gods. Gods for the most part have limitless power and are impervious.

If Buffy was a god, she wouldn't have been brought down by a poison.

If Faith was a god, she would have just rode into the Fire Nation and wouldn't have bothered to spend a 100 years looking for a sneaky and safe way into the Fire Nation.

If they were all gods, they would have just smacked down the Fire Nation when the war first started. They didn't because they don't have that much power.
