Oh! This was really sad-but extremly good. Poor Giles, cut off from the love of his life, and only gets a one line note that she was married, giving him no chance to put a stop to it.
Can't wait to see how he raises Harry. (At least Harry doesn't have to go to Petunia)

I must say that generally I'm a James/Lily 'shipper all the way; to the point that mentioning Lily with anyone else makes me edgy.
But the tone of this is lovey, the poingancy and the way it fits with the Gilesness. Their relationship, and the 'plot twist' works very well for me; mostly because of the 'clothes fluke'.

Nice short ficlet. I expected the twist, but it was still entertaining. I particularly liked how you parallelled the fluke between Xander and Willow in season three.
