I'm sad to see this one end. I liked reading Buffy's friendship with Daniel blossom. Nicely done.

I had read the first story before but I didn't quite catch that she was off world for so long before all the wonkyness kicked in. I thought it was step through the gate and collapse. Good to know.

Question? If Buffy can't leave Earth how come she can go onto the Promethius to ring down to the place where they found the treasure...cuz they had to ring down in the tv show. So can she go anywhere in the Solar system or just in orbit? I don't entirely understand this chained to the Earth thing. I am enjoying this story...hmm maybe she and the new King Arthur can get together or something. I also like Buffy Cam pairings. but even if just Buffy Daniel friendship I am loving this...though I would like some clarification on the whole Buffy chained to Earth thing.

If you've read the original "Ring of the Gods" story that these drabbles are set in, I mention this in the third chapter. Buffy *can* go offworld. It's just that there are consequences when she does. It took about an hour for bad things to happen when she was at the Alpha Site, as I mention there; it wasn't until after that that they figured out the problem. I obviously don't have space to go into it in these drabbles, but low orbit is a *lot* closer than that, and they wouldn't have been up in the *Prometheus* very long just to skim over to Britain and beam down.

Don't worry. These drabbles are mostly to bridge the gap between the "Ring of the Gods" story and a much longer one I want to tell set in the middle of Season 9; I'll get into the mechanics of the problem more there.

(And the King Arthur thing was mostly a joke about what happened at the beginning of Season 9 in Stargate canon. Though it would be even funnier if it wasn't).

Enter Vala! Yes! She's reminds me a lot of Anya. If Anya still alive, they going to get along famously. It was going to be fun for Buffy with Vala around. Plenty of opportunity for her to witness Daniel's embarassment. Good for you to update fast.

Loving this, as ever. And the whole "Buffy-stuck-on-Earth" angle is one I haven't seen before! Although one part has me with visions of Buffy and Sam competing over the worst love life ever in order to get the last brownie, which is a rather scary thought.

Great story. Must suck for Buffy to know about other planets and have access to the Stargate and not to be able to go through it (even in the Milky Way). I'd hate to be in her position. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Yay! Another SG crossover by you! I like this one so far, and the idea of Buffy/Lorne is a great one. He would be perfect! I wonder if Buffy knows he's quite an artist as well? I hope you send both Buffy and Daniel to the Pegasus Galaxy, I want to see your take of how she would handle the Wraith.

I have another universe already going where Buffy is in Atlantis, though I haven't explored the Wraith aspect much yet; I've been involved with other projects. That one's about Buffy having fun; she's a little more frustrated with life in this one, but more mature, too. I'm not sure yet whether I'll send her there in this universe...

It is amazing to me, the scoobies. The way they treat her sometimes. Them being angry about her leaving...ok not going to talk about it. I'm still wondering if there might be some romance in the future for Daniel and Buffy? How were things left between Buffy and Lorne? I honestly don't remember Lorne so Daniel gets my vote. (if it means anything, but hey I vote in elections all the time. It doesn't seem to make any difference what so ever but I keep voteing anyway :)

Buffy will regret it. I just know it. Daniel can be persistent and like to know even the smallest details. And Buffy is not the most patience of person...Good chapter overall.
