I don't know what concept spawned this, but it's damn funny!

I've always had a bit of a soft spot (in my head, I suspect) for the John Shea version of Lex from "Lois & Clark", although Michael Rosenbaum of "Smallville" has his moments. The Gene Hackman version left me remarkably underwhelmed in every film, I have to say.

Now, the alien battle armor made out of a fountain pen and transistor radio -- that sounds like the Lex I encountered in Elliott S! Maggin's two Superman novels, which was in turn the Lex of the Superman comics in the 70's I hear. THAT Lex from the "Last Son of Krypton" and "Miracle Monday" books was by far and away my favorite.

That's exactly the Lex I was talking about! I loved those books, and I loved that Lex. He was my favorite too.
