Interesting beginning. It was a little dificult to follow at first. It could use a little more transition from when Logan left the mansion to his jog in the park. But it did smoothed out in the end. I would definitely like to read more of this story.

Thanks for that. Originally I had this chapter in a series of flashbacks, but that didn't work either. I'll re-work it after I get another chapter or two cranked out. (If I stop and edit too much now, I'll never move on!)

Mmm. Interesting bit of character POV. But is it night or day? And howcome we only learn it is frigid cold out in comparision to ?? So the exposition needs some work to hook me into the time and the place, but the storytelling is pretty good.
