I've just read this story in one shot and all I have to say is: dear god this is a fantastic story. I love the direction that its headed in! I hope you update soon.

I feel that the apology from the Scoobies comes across as being not totally sincere and a bit self-righteous. The line from Xander, “And our Buffy returns to us,” Xander stated. “We’ve been waiting.” just sounds extremely possessive and not at all forgiving. People change as they grow older but it sounds like the Scoobies don't want to, or cannot accept that Buffy has changed too. They want the "old" Buffy, the one they could control and wouldn't stand up for herself (Yeah, I have issues with the Scoobies and their behaviour.).

And I hope there's more to come with the Giles' situation, as it was resolved much too easily, without him accepting that he had erred and in a pretty bad way too.

I do enjoy the story and look forward to any further updates.

"There's the Buffy we know"...not the line, word for word, but the line that annoyed me the most. It still seems like the Scoobies are blaming Buffy for most, NOT ALL, but most of what's gone wrong in their lives (or in their relationships as Scooby-friends). Perhaps if they hadn't been so oppressively judgmental, she wouldn't have pulled away so much. (& if they hadn't been stupid enough to pull her outta Heaven, but that kinda goes without saying...even though I just did. :D) I'm glad Buffy knows the truth about Giles, but I don't feel like that's really resolved...Giles did take the easy way out by telling all the Scooby secrets...but I wonder, did he bother telling EVERYTHING HE did? All the damage HE caused, somehow I think Giles still managed to gloss over it. I'm glad Remus recognized that ordering the Slayer around wouldn't be the best thing for his health...& the convo was good...it still seems like everyone's blaming Buffy for not being who they need (or want) her to be, rather than just letting her be Buffy.

Yes, there's a reason for the lines being, so well . . . No, the situation with Giles isn't resolved. I don't mind, but the next chapter is it. Everything is spilled, aired out for the HP-verse characters to see. Even the new situation between Buffy and Willow. Then finally, we can move forward. Get to the 'New Destiny' bit.

Have to say that I love this fic so far, I think it is absolutely wonderful. I really am very curious as to why Buffy is having so many problems with her magic when she can feel it everywhere. It should be very very very interesting when Harry gets knocked off his high horse (I didn't like how Harry treated everyone at the beginning of the movie). Again this fic is very wonderful so far and I am very eager to read more of this wonderful fic. (I originally wasn't going to read this fic) Please please please update again soon.

I didn't want it to go over to well because it sets up for the Scoobies, the Weasleys, and Hermione to pull Harry out of his funk because he is not going to be that annoying angsty-no-one-understands-me-Harry of Book 5. I think you'll agree when I say no one could stand Harry for most of Book 5.

Ah sorry, I've already got someone planned for Dawn. There have been tiny-teeny hints in a couple of chapters. You don't need to feed the plot bunny - it's quite well feed. But I'll save it up for later. I've got the next chapter planned out. I just need time to write it. My best friend's getting married, so I'm pretty busy until the beginning of June.

all right, you have my undivided attention with this story...and though in your story a Remus/Buffy pairing sounds good...i can't seem to keep the face of the guy who played Remus in the movies out of my mind.....and HIM....a good pairing with Buffy does not make....but hey, its fanfiction...and not the movie....so i'm always willing to suspend my disbelief for a good story....which this is....thanks for sharing!!
