Was re-reading in the hope an update might appear. I hope real life calms down & allows you to continue this story soon. I really want the backtrack to see what happened between chapter 22 & 23. I'm thoroughly enjoying the emphasis on Xander & Dawn, with Rona & the Eppes' brothers on the side.

I am a bit confused though. Suddenly in chapter 23, Dawn is thinking about Xander crushing on Don but earlier chapters more clearly hinted that Xander was crushing on Charlie, and Charlie on him. I don't remember any hint of Don being interested in Xander that way, more that he wanted to figure out the mystery of what Xander does & Dawn's history.

It''s a cool story so far and I like where it's going, but I'm a bit confused by the last chapter...
Haw did they get to the bar? And what's with the Dawn calming the situation? What is the situation? I'm sorry if I sound a little over-critical, but I really am confused.
Please update soon, maybe it'll help clear-up some of the confusion.

I like the story, but I think that maybe I missed something. When did Xander explain things? It jumped straight from chapter 22: Don wants to know why Xander is at the crime scene...then to chapter 23: Don commenting on something Dawn said and referring to the slayer. When was the big reveal scene? Where did Dawn come from? She wasn't there at first (Xander, Rona, and Charlie arrived). Don is a law officer and Charlie is a numbers guy. Shouldn't there have been an element of ...prove it?

Reread the story again. Hoping to find new chapters, but alas, no such luck.

Okay........... I love this fic, so far this last chapter so dose not go with the flow of this fic so far. I am saying what happened between chapter 22 and chapter 23? things just make no sence at all. I think that this fic is wonderful so far and I am very eager to read the next part please update again soon.

Um, I guess I got lost between 22 and 23. Last I checked they were at a crime scene, and now they're in a bar with Dawn-flashes. Am I to assume that chapter 22-and-a-half that wasn't posted covered an explanation to Don about what Slayers are and what's going on?
Still a good story, just missing bits.

Actually, what happened is going to be revealed in the next few chapters via phone calls between the LA gang and Buffy. So, you're not lost. *nods*
