Love Teal'c's command of movie dialogue, and I found the way you wove an alternate ending to SG1 season 10 into the Fifth Element (a movie I enjoyed in many respects, even though I couldn't help but be disturbed by the fact that all the women it portrayed seemed to be either disposable bimbos, shrewish mothers, or at best tools for the 'good guys': Leeloo's body being a weapon, and the Diva's body being used as LUGGAGE, for crying out loud). All of SG1 -- original and 'newbies' -- going off to fight Ascended battles in the Pegasus Galaxy and then re-corporealize to live out their days fighting the good fight on Atlantis was a great way to finish.

You SO ABSOLUTELY AND POSITIVELY kick ass over the TV series' writers!!!!!!! *points to the travesty that is "Unending" and crawls away to crash for a bit*

Definitely an interesting crossover. I like the way you had things seen from Daniel's POV, and how little the movie needed to be altered to fit in here.

i have not seen season 10, so...Intriguing. I don't see Daniel becoming like that, but i may be completely wrong :/

I first remember noticing how-- bleak-- Daniel's attitude was becoming in episode 10.03, "The Pegasus Project", though the seeds had been there for awhile.

I don't really think he *would* end up this way, either. But I think he *could*, without much difficulty, if the War ended this badly.
