I love the scene with Asher though, where you address the issue from his POV, and don't actually come out and say anything, but insert you're own version of how Buffy would react to his scars. The lack of words is actually more powerful.

OMG you're back to updating!!!! how the hell did i miss that???? oh so glad you came back to this fic, it is one of my favs.....and no one has been writing any B/A xovers worth reading for a couple of months (imho)....anyway, as i was reading the other reviews i hafta had my 2 cents: you called Richard a weenie...just be honest and call Dick, a dick (kinda goes with the name don't it?)....he doesn't deserve Buffy, especially not after the way he's treated her....he's so rigid (and not even in a good way) and inflexible....everything is so black and white, he needs to learn to find the gray (and btw, i AM a therapist) so my rx of treatment for Mr. Zeeman would be to learn from this experience and try to empathize, that for some, there are worse things than dying....and i'm sure he doesn't wanna know what its like living on as a survivor of rape, or worse.....anyway....im off my soap box...totally looking forward to more, and hopefully more often.........welcome back!

NO! Buffy don't fall for his salty goodness! Just beacuse he has more muscles now does not excuse his behavior! I want to go back to more Asher sexiness!! But I am feeling sympathy for Buffy.. but please let Buffy be stronger and let Richard suffer a little! There is too much going on right now! There are LOTS of issues that need to be dealt with..

Buffy doesn't deserve the pain Richard has given her, and it shouldn't be easy for him to get her back. I can understand her kissing him because he is hot and she is definitely in love, but I hope he apologizes a lot. I also hope he doesn't do anything to hurt her like that again. Keep updating, please!

I'm so glad you're updating again. And I love the Buffy / Richard reunion :D In this crossover category it's my favorite pairing. Buffy seems to be somewhat of Anita Blake version lite ;) without the anger and accusations, which would be good for Richard.

Anita Blake has some fun characteristics, but she can be a wee bit aggressive. A tad, but at least she's honest about it. I think Buffy comes across as a little less intense when it comes to dominating people, but also a little more passive aggressive.

Or, that's my take on it. I could be wrong.

wow.. there is some tension! are you sure this can't be a richard/buffy/asher fic? even though each chapter is so short.. you are able to condense alot of tension and drama into this! i hope to see more of asher!!! also with richard... i think it is a personal bias.. but he annoys me!! he is a walking contradiction and hurts those around him bcs he can't deal with his own issues... maybe buffy will be able to kick his ass into gear!

R/B/A would be fun to read, but I don't think Richard could get over his homophobic/vampire issues to hop into bed with Buffy and Asher. Richard is such a spoilsport.

I can't believe I'm just now finding this fic. It's brilliant! You have a good balance in your chapters...you give us just enough information to get a picture of what's going on but leave us dying for more. There are some great lines in this chapter as well. I particularly love Richards line: "He left her for reasons he can't remember but he's sure she'll never forget." I certainly hope Richard gets a clue in your fic. He never really seems to in the AB books. Can't wait for more:)
