Spike's very highly-developed sense of survival is very much in evidence here, and Logan's concerns about the various survival scenarios are quite interesting and intriguing.
It would be very interesting to see how dramatically the X-people's survival prospects in any scenarios involving government forces would shift if Xi throws in her lot with them.

As was indicated, the statistics that Logan had were only for battles with the X-Men against Buffy alone. Throw in any other competent allies on her side and you have a whole nother ball game. Xavier obviously thinks so too since he's going for disengagement tactics first to follow the adage: "He who fights and reuns away, lives to fight another day."

It will be interesting to see where and when Spike might have met Logan, and also to see what he might be able to tell him about his past.
Also, i think that Xavier is being quite optimistic thinking that Joyce isn't going to be pissed at him any longer once Buffy's mind and personality have been restored as much as can be. ;-)

Willow could always resurrect Walsh or summon her for a royal Joyce beat down. Odds are though since this is Marvel, Mephesto probably is enjoying Walsh's black soul. He was always so much better and devious than the First Evil.

Interesting development here, man.
Is it the implants and memory/mental conditioning Buffy/Xi has undergone or is it the fact that her personality has been split and is currently fragmentary that has made her resistant to the spell the monks have cast and prevented her from recognizing Dawn as her sister?
Love this story, man, and looking forward to seeing more of it.
