This, I think, is a very nice portrayal of Joyce. It obviously deviates from canon, but in subtle ways, and Joyce is shown as being compassionate and loving, and- more than anything- she cares for her daughters above and beyond everything else in the world. Joyce recognizes that she can't shelter Buffy, but the letter seems to acknowledge that she still does want to protect Dawn from everything she can. Think of that, maybe, when you revise the other story. Joyce wouldn't want Dawn to be angry with anyone, and she certainly wouldn't have instilled that kind of anger in her.

Well done.

Review:
Huh, that was interesting. I definitely wasn't expecting Flitwick there at the end. It was definitely good though. I reallyhope to see more added to it. Though if you decide not to, it's still good as it is.

Seriously though, I always find these bits where Willow or Buffy are some estranged descendant of Albus or Filius interesting, but no one ever makes a full story out of them.
Comments from author:
Okay, I will work on the enxt part. but remebr BUff is dead. Oy is the Order of the pheonix gonna have a shock when Filius turns up wht a grieving fiften eyar old.

Review of chapter "The Letter Home" from Nightmarish
Review:
All I can say is, Joyce's mother must have had really good genes!

[Edit] I meant no offence - I think I just view Flitwick as a little more demony than he is portrayed in the books. Damn movies are coloring my views. (Honestly, I didn't make it through the third. They depress me.) But canon "Angel" tells us that even people with demon blood can pass as 100% human, so it wouldn't matter anyhow. I think this would be fun to continue.
Comments from author:
why? It's possible for two ilttle people ot ahve an average child and no one knwos what Flitiwck looked like when he was young.

Would you like to see where this goes? The stuid Plot Froggie won't leave me alone now.

Actually i was thinking more Elf than dmeon adn the movies are bad hence me ahving all four that are on DVD now but barelty watching past 1. I kind of like Flitwick. He's interesting and underused hence me using him. CHek iut Granddaughter for what happens next.
