And once again, the end of the chapter leaves me going, "Uh-oh!" Although I am anxious to see Jack's reaction to Buffy's idea. And I'd really love to see Buffy meet up with Clone Jack's former team: she may be in the process of developing Issues with them.

I also thought Jack's image of Buffy as an old woman with the same childish mannerisms was awesome, as was Clea's hippie parents. Nice work.

Thanks! I'm happy you liked those little details I put in. I had to think really hard about what Old!Buffy would be like. Clea's the odd one out in her family, being all serious and running a business. Her parents really annoy her because they /could/ have high-paying jobs, just choose not to.

On the 'yuck factor' Daniel finds in a 50-year old guy hitting on what looks like a teen girl. Yep, it's there, but--remember in the ep they happily send him off to a high school with a joke about all the teen girls there? And just assume he'll fit in as a teenager. Sam & Jack etc were just irrational on that one... glad to see that Daniel at least realizes there's a problem there--

Exactly. The others don't want to believe the clone would do that, but Daniel can't ignore it, not when it's right in front of him.

Hypocritical, much? They ignore the clone because he isn't "the real Jack" and at the first sign he is getting a life that fits his circumstances, they freak? ...because it isn't how "the real Jack" would act? Of course, I may be reading more into it, because so far we only have Daniel's reaction, but I was always irritated about how the clone (miniJack) seemed to fall off the face of the earth in the show.

Yep to all. They really should have done more with the clone. I am rectifying that failure. SG-1 doesn't really know what's been going on with the clone. The General has a piece of the puzzle, Daniel has another, and Sam and Teal'c don't know anything yet. They're going to have a hard time putting everything together.

This was such a great chapter. I can't wait for Daniel to talk to General O'Neill. I love this fic, I go out of my mind with happiness whenever ther's an update. Please never abandon this fic, it's just too good.

Thank you. Daniel telling the General will be in the next chapter I think. I don't abandon fics, though I do let them lie around for several years before updating them again. This fic is not in danger of that happening. With such short style chapters I can update much more often without getting burned out.
