Finally managed to catch up and read this story completely. Wow! I'm hoping you write a sequel with Faith or stories of Tara and Willow and Buffyverse Willow later. Loved every bit of this story. Even the metaphysical and cosmic bits.

Wow... this story was just... incredible... The only fault I can find in it is the lack of Daniel. As pretty much the only one to have passed through the Quantum Mirror he'd be all over someone from another reality popping up in their reality. I find it interesting that you were predicting things that came out in the Season 8 comics several YEARS before they came out in print. In fact, to a point I could almost see your story nestling in to the Season 8 continuum.
But other than that slight blip I've got to say that I now hold this and the Compelled series (
http://www.tthfanfic.org/Series-461 ) by Hotpoint to be the pinnacle of Buffy fanfiction.

Wonderful! Nice twists and additions to canon events. I'll admit that I sometimes found it hard to pay attention during some of the longer debate/explaination scenes (such as Buffy's discussion with the President).

QuinnReview:
Good chapter, good story. I've been reading along for some time, but I believe this is my first time commenting. Aside from the fact you have a good imagination, you also have a masterful way of taking canon and spinning it around so it fits the story you are trying to tell.
Just a couple of quick questions. First, in chapter seven - Xander's reaction to Spike is mirroring canon up to about season six and I'm wondering if you are purposefully trying to show a blind spot for him when it comes to Spike? Or is it a jealously thing with Dawn? Up to this point in your story it seemed like you were trying to highlight how much Xander had matured, then Spike pops on scene and his maturity takes a nose dive (which may very well be intentional). When Spike's been badly beaten in the past Xander (in some cases even more than Buffy) tended to tone down his picking on him (think season five's Glory incident, or when Spike's hands were hamburger after grabbing the sword) and they managed to tolerate each other with some good-natured teasing in season seven (think episode "Him" where Spike and Xander hunt down the jacket). This isn't a criticism, so much as a curious reader wondering what direction you are going in with Xander's inclusion in the story if it isn't too much of a spoiler to share. Xander - Spike snark can be funny, and is used frequently as a humor device, so no worried on whether it translates. Just curious. :)
Second, in chapter eight - is Buffy intentionally confusing BtVS-verse Faith with SG1-verse Faith? And so on for the other characters? Or is it a plot device that she doesn't seem to be making a distinction at times?
Anyway, thanks for sharing your story with us, and all the regular updates. Can't wait to see where you are going with it.
Comments from author:
It was just jealousy. Horny Xander is a grouchy Xander.

Just wanted to pause and applaude you for the "Firefly" reference/joke. *sighs* Oh, if only it had gone on for 6+ seasons...

SlayerKatyReview:
I liked this one even better than "Far Beyond Normal" - probably because it has more of the Buffy characters from the "original" universe in it.
But like the first part, it was very well written and enjoyable to read. The characterizations, the plot, the details - first class. I especially liked how everything came together towards the end and everything had a meaning. I just had some problems with the long scientific descriptions - and that's your fault, because I couldn't interrupt the reading long enough to look things up! (I'm German, so vocabulary sometimes becomes an issue.)
So thanks again and I'd really like something new!

Great series. While I normally like happy, everyone survives and gets the girl kinda endings, this one fit very well.

This series is absolutely beautiful, incritately woven and so real regarding the human psyche that it is striking as to how good of an author you are. Kudos and you have a new fan in myself.
