Huh. An interesting AU and a welcome departure from the 'Saint Buffy' characterizations that pop up like dandelions. Poor Nathaniel, though. Always getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop...

Very nicely done! I loved the idea of Buffy being Nathaniel's first and the way it fit into her world was absolute genius! (this was meant to go with Buffy canon right?). I would love to see a sequel of them perhaps meeting again post-BTVS, I couldn't help but imagine having the cliche idea of Buffy doing Angel a favour and going to see Jean-Claude, lol!

Anyways, loved it!
