Another surprise that it is hogwarts and not a summer castle where Harry is in AU-hiding with Snape. But perhaps the charms on the school, made it seem like a regular castle and not such an awsome and large looking castle? Thanks for adding to the story.

I'm so intrigued to read what surprises people about my plot. The castle is indeed Hogwarts (I didn't want to describe it too thoroughly initially, as I wanted to surprise people with the location in the second chapter.) This story isn't AU, just set somewhere in book 6, a normal day at the school until the Doctor arrives.

Not the Giles-a-like crossover that I was expecting. But a very interesting choice for same casting mistaken identity cross.

When I read the first chapter of your story, I thought it'd be Giles, mistaken for that Headmaster guy whose name escapes me at the moment, in Slayer HQ. That's supposed to be in a castle up in Scotland too.

This is much preferable. Hope you don't take too long to update!

Honestly, I didn't even think of having him mistake Giles for Mr. Finch, but that would be interesting. Glad I surprised you, though-- more fun that way!
I've been busy/sick recently, so I haven't done quite as much writing as I would like, but hopefully, updates on several stories will be forthcoming.
