Review of chapter "One Path Splits Into Seven" from Bluejello
Review:
Crap. I am now completely hooked on this series, and I blame you entirely.
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go read the sequel and find out just who the hell is the mystery person who was pulled through to Middle Earth. You are truely evil. ;)

Review of chapter "One Path Splits Into Seven" from DevJannz
Review:
I have been a fan of the Lord of the Rings since I was 7 years old and as one I have always been very weary of crossover stories regarding it. They have always felt forced and I never liked how they would insert characters into major roles (like having Buffy join the Fellowship, etc.), but yours is a story that I can truly say I have enjoyed. It has never felt forced and I like how you have given the Scoobies their own roles to play in this world. It make them much more believable and in my opinion, better characters.

I have read this story a couple of times now and when I first read it I was a little unsure about the whole "The Lord of the Rings is a book where we are from" angle but when you added in events not happening the way they were supposed to until one of the Scoobies nudged things along, it added a whole Quantum Leap style aspect to the story. I grew to like it and it really works well.

Some of my favorite parts were when Buffy, Faith & Spike left with Aragorn to train as rangers, the whole Dawn/Elrohir relationship and Xander being the first one to be offered a ring of power because the bad guys assume he is the weakest of the Scoobies, when he is actually one of the strongest (at least willpower wise).

Great story. :)

Review of chapter "One Path Splits Into Seven" from NicCuinn
Review:
Wow - this was a fantstic story! I like how you 'matured' the Buffy cast - differently than they would have had they not been transported and you did it well - enough to show the changes, but you kept enough of what make each person 'unique' to keep it natural.
Really, really great job!
I love the 'soulmates' thing - and Faith's coming into her own is very welcome and very well written.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Review:
Bravo! Beautifully written! Quite an epic!
I can't wait to read the sequel.
All the Buffyverse characters settled into Middle-Earth about as well as I imagined they would. (Spike's my favorite character, as well!)
How will each of their new destinies in Middle-Earth unfold, I wonder?

Review of chapter "Uncontrollable Destinies" from BloodOfAReptile
Review:
I was going to save it and review at the end, but I noticed a tiny mistake in this chapter, so here it is.

First, the good - your story is really quite good. I really like how you've taken the approach that maybe some of the gang /wouldn't/ be happy in ME. So many stories things just turn out so magically well, yours seems more human and true in that respect.

My tiny problem - you have Spike referring to himself as a "bint" in this chapter... that's actually slang for a female... and not really nice slang. Kind of implying she's slutty... So, Spike, being English, would most likely not call himself that.

Sorry to be picky. :-p

Review:
your nose of sauron is spot on, considering that a "fair man" , or fair creature, or whatever, was sent to the dwarf to make them pledge to sauron.
Good work. Xander was a bit stupid, though.
