this story is 3years old so I'm guessing it's dead, but I would absolutely love to see a sequel or a short drabble that details the fate of poor Westley.

Ahh, I re-read this fic for the first time in a good long while, and it is just a joy to read now as it was back in thee day. I don't know whether it will ever be updated, but I sincerely hope that it will!

This is SO GOOD!!!

This remains one of my favorite crossovers of all time. It is respectful to both fandoms and all the characters... oh and it's Wesley. The poor man isn't used nearly often enough in fanfics. I'm no stranger to long breaks having once gone a year between chapters myself, but I do hope this is continued. Wes/ Eowyn sounds great and she hasn't even showed up yet.

Great fic. I like how Wesley doesn't end up included in the Fellowship. I always found that to be pretty unlikely when done in other LotR crossovers. Wesley's friendship with Haldir is a surprise, but believably developed. Can't wait to read more.

And I can't wait to find time to write more! Alas, RL ate all my ficcish energy. One day, perhaps, I'll have time to get back into writing fic. Thanks for the review, and I agree re: the Fellowship.

It's all plotted out to the end, it just has to be fleshed out properly. If I could only find the time, it would make me ecstatic. Seriously.

Beautiful! Although, you keep mentioning Dante, which is irritating as I'm reading your story in a procrastination attempt to avoid writing a paper on the Inferno. ^^ Still, Italian poets notwithstanding, your writing is gorgeous and your characterization intriguing. My only complaint is the ease with which Wes picked up the language; is there some reason behind that which you'll explain later? Commonalities or magic of some sort?

This sounds like a good idea and I really like your version of Wes, but the language thing bugs the hell out of me. I think it almost better if you had just broken down and allowed Wesley to be able to speak the common tongue. I can't suspend my belief enough to believe that Wesley can speak as well to the fellowship as well as you have him doing after a few hours/days. It's not possible no matter how smart and schooled he is. Learning a new language as I'm sure you know takes at least a few months and thats with intense study. Wesley's fluidity issue could have been easily solved if you made mention of the common tongue sounding similar/related to some other language he'd studied.

Besides that I think I like the plot and the direction you're taking the story. Oh and your idea of pairing matched mine. Good or bad I like a variety of ending for a pairing. Constant fairy tale endings bore after a while.
