A fantastic chapter. It's probably overdue that someone would make a pass at Buffy, still she has been living mostly with elves rather than among men. Poor Lothir, though. I'd bet he'd be mortified if he remembers it, as no doubt he'd never have allowed himself to say such a thing sober. And the inclusion of the slayer dream as a warning is good.

But I've got to echo everyone else and say that it's evil to leave us with such a cliffie when you aren't going to be updating in a while. Were you snickering to yourself while writing it ? Still, it's easier to wait when I know that you won't be posting, rather than living in daily expectation of an update that doesn't come. And Good luck with NaNoWriMo.

in the meantime, keeping Theodred from dying would be very interesting --next scoop up Eomer and head for Theoden --arrive just after Gandalf frees Th. from Saruman? With Buffy meanwhile captured by the S-man? Could be an interesting meeting...

Loved the action and the interaction between Buffy and the Rangers.

Loved everything until I got to the authors note! How could you? That's so cruel. You do know that right? Good job. Loved how instead of fighting each other they all ended up getting drunk. Very like a man of Rohan.

As a fanfiction reader, can I just say how much I hate NaNo? Especially when someone like you leaves a story like this sitting at that moment *pouts* Definitely not a filler chapter here! A chapter that makes me bouncy, yes, but not filler. Am very intrigued as to where you are going with this story, I have to say. Where it will be (and has already) breaking off from the canon, what has changed, what hasn't changed. I guess if you, like so many of my authors whose WIPs I'm reading, abandon us for the month of November, I'll just have to watch my extended edition LoTR DVDs again. And wonder at where Aragorn's sister has disappeared to!

But yes. This chapter was goooood. I think I'll go and read it again now.

It was a good chapter. It is sad that she left still being on such terms with Boromir and Aragorn, especially Boromir, since she may not see him again. And Legolas finally speaks. I'll miss the elves but it'll be good to have a change of scenery and see what happens now with Theoden and company, and what she'll make of Grima. So, as always, very much looking forward to the next chapter.

Having her leave without saying goodbye to Boromir was a toughie. But I don't think she would have gotten the chance to, with big brother looking over her shoulder and her frustration with big brother at the moment. If things go down with canon, it will be one of the things she regrets. Legolas finally got more than a single line! Sheesh... even poor Gimli has had more lines than Legolas.

Now that she's in Rohan, things will change. I've kept major changes from canon until now.

Once again, a great chapter. I really love the way you've integrated Buffy into the LotR world, it's very realistic. I especially love the sibling interactions. Update soon!
