I very nearly didn't review this. I mean, Phoenix and Fire! I, Immortal! But this was just so clearly up to what I expect from you I couldn't pass it by without dropping a line or two. Poor Eorl -- although I can guess how Buffy would have influenced him when he came to be lord and King!

I can't believe how well you write. This was absolutely fantastic. I hate short stories, and I don't care much for Lord of the Rings either... and yet, this was fantastic.
