I liked the side note of Darla attempting to turn Erik and yes the world would have definitely been screwed if she succeeded for so yay for the Professor.

Darla's pleasure was nicely disturbing because I know most normal mothers would be pleased to know the sex of her child and that her child was healthy, and well, human. But Darla isn't a normal mother and just imagining her voice and picturing her rubbing her abdomen...creepy.

I was a little wary of throwing in the side note about Darla and Erik, but decided that I liked it. The thought of Darla attempting to turn him is kinda terrifying. It leaves a lot to consider. Can mutants be turned? Do they retain their mutations or do they simply become vampires? So many possibilities, so little time.

Good, I'm glad the creepiness of Darla was well-received. Toward the end of her pregnancy, when Connor's soul was starting to interfere with Darla's sense of right and wrong, she was so screwed up. I kinda felt bad for her, having her son's soul affecting her - confusing her. Darla is such a wonderful character. I love writing her.

I'm not much of a Darla fan, but I did see the episodes in which she was carrying Connor and the sacrifice she made to bring him to the world. Nice take on this crossover fic. :)
