First off.... I'm so very sorry for your loss. I so completely understand how hard it is to lose a family member. And while it will always be hard and often sad. It will, however, get easier. Because they will ALWAYS be in your heart and soul. And someday, the sun will shine brightly again, and the pain will lessen. But until that day comes, just keep on remembering the love and how blessed you were to have them in your life... Also, as cliche as it sounds, remember that your brother is in a better place- He is now surrounded by God and all his Angels, basking in that pure love and comfort and warmth...

With that said... It was a good chapter. Made all the better because you were able to write in the midst of all your grief.... I pray that you will find the solace you need to help you through this trying time.

Great update. I loved the playfulness of the relationship between Buffy and Methos. I like how you're writing Cordelia's character...normally I can't stand her, but you're one of the few writers that can make me like her. :)

Thank you so much for the review, especially for liking the way that I am portraying Codelia. I have always felt in fanfiction that she has gotten a bad image. Yeah on Buffy she may have been Queen C the uber beyotch but she changed. She is one of the few characters on Buffy or Angel that really grew as a character. It still ticks me off the way they did her story line for season four.

I hope that you continue to enjoy the story just as much and feel free to comment on any chapter, even if there is something that you don't like. I view constructive criticism better than a lot of fanfiction wriiters that I have seen, I take it and use it to make me a better writer.

This story keeps coming to me in parts and I find myself jotting the storyline down on everything from toilet paper to napkins and my daughters old homework papers. I love the image you concocted of Illyria playing Mommy to bitty Slayers (and her 'explanation' for each of the apparently nurturing actions she's taken), and even more the idea of Spike defending his care-giving of a bunch of little girls, trying to show that he's NOT gone all soft, because, hey, he reads them the ORIGINAL, unedited fairy tales, with full horror quotient.

That was one of my favorite parts to write. I love playing with the character of Illyria, it's kind of an open playground. I believe that there is more of Fred in there than we ever got to see on the show. Thanks for the review and I hope you continue to enjoy the show.
