Review:
Quick question. Just how old are Harry, Ranma and the other kids as of chapter three?
Comments from author:
Between six and ten I believe from cannon information of the technique. However as it was necessary for there to be some training for Naruto and Harry they are actually closer to eight with Ranma only being relatively closer to ten. Basically where Naruto and Harry would be eleven to Ranma's fifteen or sixteen they would in actually be two years older than they should be. Confusing it may be but I needed to add two years to their age or they would have started training as toddlers.

Review of chapter "What Could Have Been" from HieiUchiha
Review:
Well, I like the concepts you are throwing out there, and your over all plotline is pretty good, but seriously, the grammar and word tenses really need work. You seem to stop and start thoughts and have your characters go on a tangent way too often, and your main character Horus is just way too powerful for any meaningful interaction with the other characters..I think you have a good start, but I would suggest a rewrite and some collaborative work with a beta reader and editor. Still, keep up the good work and know I am not trying to be mean or harsh and I am sorry if it seems as such.
Comments from author:
Considering that a good number of conversations I am in go on wild tangents I guess they take after me a bit in that. Now while Horus seems too powerful it is more relative considering the main cross tends to have its moments where it tends to get too much like BMZ and Tenchi Muyo in power scale. The reason he may seem headed for godlike is that level sadly is the necessity to get home as his current level is still susceptible to reality alteration ie The Wish in the Buffy cannon. Might do more of a rewrite one day though.

Review:
I liked the premise of the story and what was actually going on overall, but I had to work to keep track of the actual storyline because these LONG 'history' and discourses on politics interrupted the flow of the story a few times. Story #1 in this series follows the action better. I do like the characters you are using, how they're interacting, and some of the changes you've initiated in their universes.

I'm not familiar with the fandom the main characters are from, so I don't know if you're adding the info to show how your story diverges from canon. If you're following canon, then I'd assume followers of that fandom are already familiar with the background of the society. I'm only interested with how that society will affect/interact with the crossed universes with which I AM familiar. To improve the flow of the storyline, you could pull most of the political and historical info that does not directly affect the story into fandom-specific side stories and musings to illustrate any additional background you feel we need

I like to read crossovers, and for those fandoms I don't usually follow, I simply enjoy the characters as they're presented (I don't NEED the 'official' background). Sometimes I find that after reading several stories using certain characters, I will start wanting to read more of them and eventually I find that another fandom has been added to my list of interests (that's how I got into CSI Miami, Numb3rs, Due South, and some others).
Comments from author:
Mostly I am trying to show divergences although certain situations seem to be necessary for any resemblance even AU to cannon. Besides I did want to show what a more informed teacher would do to correct any training and prevent any problems from Genma's usual actions.
