nice concept, but it has to be AU since we have many instances of Anita mentioning her parents being married.

Um, I SAID it was an AU and that quote 'I was taking creative license with backstories' in my disclaimer.. That said, her parents WERE married, but her mother met her (step)father AFTER Anita was born.

I really hope that this isn't complete. How could it be? There's so much left to do! I really love this idea -- and not just the idea, but how wonderful your writing is as well. You hit Cordelia's character on the head. I love that Nathaniel was the first person she saw as well.

Are you planning on continuing this? If not, for SHAME! You should. If you are, YEAY! I can't wait to read more. Is Cordelia going to continue high school? [She's a Senior... correct?] Will she be asking Anita to let her stay with her? Will Cordelia be the only Buffy character in this fic, or will Angel be making an appearance? [I loved the first season of Angel with the whole Cordelia/Angel dynamic--friendship relationship... and Doyle was a favorite!] It'll be so interesting to see how the AB verse characters handle Cordelia. She's one of my favorites!

An interesting start for a great story. This premise could lead to a really interesting story. You can a just picture Cordelia meeting JC for the first time or Anita trying to tell Cordelia that she cannot stay (after all, if the Pard is Anita's family, you just know that they are going to guilt Anita a lot).

Track this story and see what the author decides to do next.

Well, there is nothing wrong with this story apart from the word "complete" at the end. Any chance that could be changed?

Oh my! This story CAN'T be complete. I always loved Cordelia, even at her snarkiest, and with her so down and alone, you just have to write more so we can see her strength and intelligence develop. I'd love to see her interact with Anita and her various boyfriends or pack members or pard members or whatever the heck they are. More, please?
