Sorta gave me shivers. Poor Gin. Right away I thought of the Chambers of Secrets and that damn diary when I read those for words. If anyone would know about the 'whispers of the damned' would be the youngest Weasley. :-)

She could see into the darkness of his hood? Neat.
Yeah, the movieverse Nightcrawler has a lot of pent-up angst. Seeing a true monster of the night - who's also somewhat pleasant - might actually be good for him :D

Excellent setting description and Spike's inner monologue. I'm unimpressed with the Jack/Dru scene. The setup with them sitting at the table looking up is awesome, but there's not enough follow through for my tastes.
