Took me a few seconds, but I'm delighted to see Dracula making a return appearance in Buffy's life (especially now that she's supposedly evil, too). Great bit with him assuming that they're both there to stop the upstart little vamps from getting an unfair advantage over their betters.

Oh Dracula...you KNOW the thrall's gone out of the relationship. lol Great update! Loved seeing it when I woke up today after my first Halloween celebration. More chappies always make a happy me. :D I really liked that Casey was his efficient self, can't wait to see Buffy & Casey have a little chat about themselves. Really lovin' the chapter, & getting to see Buffy as the head of the Aurelius Clan was really fantastic. More please!

*squee* Loved it! I really liked seeing Buffy in take-charge mode...& I loved seeing her play Marc on the phone. I look forward to seeing her at the "investment meeting", & seeing more of Buffy & Casey. Ooh, I also look forward to finding out what caused Buffy to become this Buffy. Now, which evil that she dated was she talking about? The Immortal? Or Angel & Spike? Or is it that she's been with all of them? Can't help hoping the vampire family is Aurelius, if only to see some Dru & Buffy interaction--always thought they'd be lots of fun together. & since this is post-Chosen, are Angel & Spike dead? (I don't read the comics, so if you're using them as part of the canon, I don't know what's going on there). Fantastic update, I just can't believe my stupid butt forgot to track this story; otherwise, you'd have received this review the day you posted. :D Great chappie!

I love the whole idea of Buffy and John Casey flirting, and I can't wait for more of this intriguing crossover (especially with Buffy -- post-Immortal-fling -- now being generally regarded in demonic and vampire circles as one of the biggest and baddest of Big Bads, complete with her Aurelius family of vamps). Really intriguing!

Might be funny if Harmony was working at this place (hey she got a great letter of recommendation from Angel!) -- and if she sees Casey, she might think he's Hamilton from W&H and freak out...
Just a thought...

It's good. you're right your Buffy is a little bit ooc, but she's got her heart in the right place and so do you... I really like the this story, I can't wait to see where you take it next!

I love this story!! I hope more is coming soon...can't wait to see what the job is...& I can't wait for more Casey/Buffy--they seem like they'll be a lot of fun.

The characters seem a bit out of character to me, though that could have just been the writing style.
Also, isn't Chuck set in California? SoCal, if I'm not wrong. I mean, Chuck does talk about ComicCon in that one episode (Chuck vs. the Sandworm?), which is held in San Diego every year. Plus, they drive UP to Stanford, which is closer to the Bay Area of California.

I just love how the characters actually stay "in character." Can't wait till the next chapter.
