Review of chapter "Epilogue - NEW 12th March" from
bannerReview:
I spent the afternoon and evening rereading this from the beginning - I have it listed in my favorites, but I'd forgotten so MUCH of the story...
It's terrific! It has perfect characterization, wonderful dialog, deep plot, and an incredibly intense mood. Thank you for this story. Again.
I'm off to read "World Without," now.

It wasn't very obvious That this was the story of "Willow in the Middle" until the last chapter. What is the name of the sequel? You are an excellent writer.
Update soon

This fic is dangerously addictive -- kept me up til the wee, small hours of the morning, because I just couldn't turn off the computer until I'd finished it! It's completely your fault that I've been going around in a sleep-deprived stupor all day today. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for sharing your fics with the rest of us!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this story.

Excellent story :) I was hoping there would be more about the middle reality in the future, I just didn't realize there was already a whole story waiting for me... yay! Now more than ever I can't wait to read more :)
Comments from author:
Thank you! I hope to explore Willow and Daniel's relationship in the sequel/companion to this, Perpetual (when I eventually start writing it).

OMG, how did I not see that coming?? I mean - seriously - how did I miss all those now obvious hints? Absolutely wonderful wonderful conclusion. And here I just thought you loved to write all the different shades of Willow and Daniel. Considering everything else going on here - one of the things I love about this ending is the Faith and Willow banter that pulls in Jack. In relation to everything else going on it is so fitting and wonderfully played.
Comments from author:
Thank you! I was so careful about not letting anything slip. People were actually thinking that S&R Willow was the Willow in the middle. How close they were...

Review of chapter "Part Twenty Six" from
zephyrRSReview:
Another stop along the re-reading journey. This really is a wonderful ride to go through again. I really forgot how much I love this incarnation of Willow and our SG friends. I love all of your Willows. Somehow each of them feel as "real" as the original Buffyverse Wills, and yet they all reflect different strengths and emotions. Compare Lt. Rosenberg fighting a battle against her guilt to this Willow fighting against Nirti from within. Powerful stuff. As an aside, I totally forgot how the entire "secret of Pylea" was revealed in this story. Now, enough reviewing -- I've only got about 10 more chapters to go before I hit the newer ones I've yet to read.
Comments from author:
Thanks for all the reviews, zeph! I try to have Willow different in every fic, it gets boring writer her otherwise. Lt. Rosenberg and this Willow are poles apart. I like post-season six Willow because she's lost a lot of her innocence after Tara died and it's fun exploring that.

zephyrRSReview:
Just another note along the way...tired of me doing this yet. There is a sentence in this chapter where the typo causes confusion for me. It is in the briefing scene. Does Daniel move away from Willow or toward her. The end of this chapter tears my heart. I love that Daniel believes nothing is beyond redemption and Willow believes that the powers have abandoned her. Its is a desperation and belief that is so palpable and IC for both of them. Now, on to the next 10 chapters another time soon.

zephyrRSReview:
Before reading the new chapters, I thought it was time to go back to the beginning and recall where this story started. Lovely chapter. I recall being hooked from the get-go, but what I love best about this chapter was Willow interpreting to herself what she was hearing. The internal conversation was wonderful. Now, on to more....

I KNEW IT!!! O.k. Little kid moment over... I Knew it!!!.. or maybe not. I think I guessed when this was in Ch 12 that this was the 'Willow in the Middle' story, but someone had to be all evil and not tell me whether or not I was right (For which I'm actually eternally grateful ***Snark***). Sorry I haven't reviewed before this but, RL started kicking me in the bum and still hasn't let up. I'm just taking a moment to kick RL back and say, 'Neener neener you can't stop me! :-P' And now on to the actual review part of this mini-rant *snicker snicker*.
You have the singular ability to make me laugh, cry and want to kick the PTB's collective a**es all the way to Pylea through every diminsion there is, all at the same time. For that you have my thanks and awe. Your characters walk out of the pages of your stories and take up permanent residence in my heart, above and beyond my love of all thing SG SG-1 and Buffy. They live and breath and it's wonderful. So thank you.

Bloody brilliant. I never saw that comming, sinc I never even considered an author would tie one story in with another like this. Kudos to you, and I can't wait for teh rest of your other epic to come out (World Without).
Comments from author:
Thank you! It might be of interest that this Willow makes her first appearance in World Without in part 63. The epilogue is pulled directly from that part, though here in World Without it's from Daniel's point of view.

SunfireReview:
Fabulous. I had my suspicions but it's been a while since I've read the stories at the same time that I didn't catch many of the himts I now realize were there. This ending really places everything together so well, it's amazing. I can't wait to read more of this 'series'. However, if you feel the inclination to work on something else, anytihng else, I don't think I could find it in myself to feel bad, I love all your stories so much!
Comments from author:
Wow! Thank you! This fic, for some reason, was incredibly hard to write. While I started it approximately the same time as World Without, the story has less than half the chapters. But I'm so glad you stayed with it.
thanks again,
Laney

Holy crap! I did not see that coming. I still can't quite wrap my head around it. When I realised you'd finished the stories with two chapters, I was thinking 'how the heck is she going to be able to wrap up a story this big in just two chapters?' and then you just pulled all the strings together with such elegance. Damn! I had absolutely no idea. I am beyond in awe of your mind. The story you've come up with, the scale of it is breathtaking. It actually took me a minute to close my mouth again after I realised what was going on. It was just so perfect. Didn't expect it at all, but in the end it made absolute sense. It's almost scary how well thought out this story is. You're a genius. No kidding. I'm gobsmacked.

Thanks so much, Tals. So you didn't see it coming, huh? You wouldn't believe the amount of planning and hoping that went into this fic. Every time someone guessed this was connected to WW, I'd pray they wouldn't blurt it out in a review.
Everything will come together in the sequel in World Without/New Beginnings which I'll started one day...
