And I liked that Faith served jail-time, it was realistic for her having murdered Joe, especially good with the realitvely short jail period. And I thought your open ending worked rather well, the party with the other CSIs and the Scoobs was a nice touch. A perfect ending to part one. Don't suppose we'll get to see a Faith/Calliegh sequel coming up any time soon?

Edit: Well, with how you were going with the story, there seemed to be a budding bond between the two women...

Plus, even though they have heigth differences, I could see Faith starting to see Cal and getting close to her, and the CSI beginning to wonder if Faith was simply with her because she reminded the Slayer of Buffy, which of course she wouldn't and all, but still. And I really would look forwards to the CSI:Miami team learning about the supernatural and now that I've gone off on a tangent I'll shut up. This is me going mute....

Edit: there was a budding bond between the two women. I wanted them to be friends and in another version of this fic I did pair them but I got stuck with the other version so I wrote another one where I got stuck as well and that's when this version came out. Okay, I'm rambling just a little.

I'll give it some serious thought and just maybe I'll do a sequel with Faith/Calleigh (knowing me I'll have a draft for a sequel ready by next week because I'm a sucker for sequels)

There was no reason for Faith to go to jail.Scoobies do not care about human laws and Willow could have destroyed all evidence with magic (or transformed cops to rats).

I liked your "open ending". Your story actually had an upbeat ending and I thank you for that. This was a well written story with excellent characterization and filled with real emotion. Thanks for letting us enjoy your Faith and her friends.

An interesting end to the story. Didn't like killing Buffy, but the way the story went it fitted and flowed. Sad but true ending. Don't like Faith's father, and it sort all made sense, and gave her a fitting background to her life before the show.

My main problem with this fic was the whole Faith/Buffy lovers thing! took awhile to get my head 'round that.

Otherwise I though you'd written a good fic which I enjoyed a lot. I'm not a great fan of CSI Miami but I generally like CSI fics and this was a good addition. Thanks for sharing.

Nice wrap up. Really enjoyed the whole story. Not a lawyer, and given the torture of Mr. Lehane, I'm glad she got some prison time, but I think even that could have been beaten. Still, big thumbs up!

aww, Lucky break for Faith, and I like that there is still prison time, makes it work better seems right even if wrong.
Will there be a calleigh/faith relationship sequel?

Excellent work, even if it was quite sad. At least Faith and Buffy had two years. Sigh. Since we know in the Buffyverse there is a heaven, I am sure they will be together again. But hopefully not for a while.

I've been reading this since the first chapter. Your story moves with style. Your presentation and setting skills are strong. Descriptions are excellent, I can see this unfolding on the screen of my mind as easily as in a theater or on television. Very good work.

Well, it is now official. You have ripped my heart out with this story. I just do not see how you are going to end this story without leaving your readers in a totally depressed state. But your story also rocks. I do look forward to the last chapter.
