I very much enjoyed this chapter and I found it interesting to note that Spike seems to know that Jack is a clone, but apparently still doesn't know about the Stargate program (since Jack covered up his slip about being tortured to death multiple times). I hope you continue to write stories in this series, because I'm loving it!

I'm glad that you liked this chapter. I haven't finished it yet, but I do have a 'explanation' story where Jack is 'discovered' to be a magical clone. After all, "I don't really know how it happened. I woke up one morning and I was a teenager" is the truth. And Spike, who doesn't know about the classified existence of little grey men, would assume magic.

Love the new addition! Especially Jack's musing about his soul prior to cloning. Usually no one touches on just how badass Jack needed to be to survive the situations he's been pre-sg1 and during. Hope for more of your work. The boss is probably going to be pissed when he sees thier expense account (i.e Angel raging over the EXCESSIVE amounts of Canadian booze charged on the company card).

Very nice treatment of a very believable concern. I like the way you handled so much in such a short space, including Jack acknowledging some of the things he's done in the past and how that fits in with the soul. It was a nice touch to bring up the robots, too. I'm glad to see you're continuing this, and I'm looking forward to the next installment and the scrapes they'll be getting in to, because after all, it's Spike and Jack--how could they NOT get into trouble?
