I loved it and read you 22 chapters (and Water) in about two hours, I just couldn't stop reading!

I'm so sad you haven't updated this. I want Buttercup to become Buffy again.. she hasn't in a long time!! I wonder if your going to give Buttercup the ring, since Frodo-- ...well yeah. Please, oh please update!!!!

I love the way that you've woven Buffy into Bilbo's life. Was she really meant to save Frodo, or was she always intended to take his place? Does she sometimes turn back into a human girl? Is that what happened with Aragorn? When will they meet again? I want more?

I am enjoying this story so much! It's such a unique idea. I have never liked an AU story as much as this one!

I'm afraid I haven't anything constructive to say, other than please keep doing what you're doing.

I just finished rereading this. I absolutely adore this story. I long for an update. I was just thinking that it is early enough that Buttercup could actually help the Dwarves to escape Khazad Dum. Then she would really be a hero to Gimli. LOL Poor guy I hope she can break it to him gently. I wonder if Gandalf is going to sense that she is under some kind of magic, or the slayer inside of her. I am looking forward to her reaction to Elves. It looks like Strider might have let go of Arwen, for his mysterious blonde. That would be so cool...that is if she was human...it might be a little awkward for him when he realizes that the mysterious woman and Buttercup are the same person! ROTFL I just hope she doesn't wake up back on Earth, this is just too much fun!

Please please please continue. I long for more.

This story is simply phenomenal...very creative and addicting. I doubt I've read anything like it before. The part that intrigued me most was when she seemed to change in the woods back into 'buffy'. Poor Frodo...why oh why did he have to die??? That is another first, I don't think I've ever read a story where Frodo dies, unless they're already on their quest and it's an end of the world fic...always good to read when you're in a very foul mood.

Your grammar and writing is excellent and you have an excellent plot...so far as I can tell, you're being fairly secretive about it...makes me want to read more! Please update soon and often, longer chapters are good, but the short chapters that you've been doing seem to go with the theme of scenes changing well, so either way.

Sorry for rambling, it's very late and I tend to ramble more in the wee hours of the night!

Okay, trying not to be stalker-ish, haha, but this is excellent too. You have an amazing ability to seamlessly insert Buffy into other universes. Really looking forward to reading more of 'Ebb'!

Wow. This story is awesome beyond words. Normally I have a hard time justifying my taste for LOTR/Buffy crossovers because they tend to, er, be unspeakably bad. And normally I don't like stories where characters become really different, because I don't see the point in reading a crossover when half the world-clash is absent. But Buttercup is still so very Buffy! I'm really enjoying it. (Heh. Especially Gimli's thing for blondes.)

The only thing is...what is Buffy? I'm assuming Aragorn thinks she is one of the Dunedain. Gloin seems to think she'd fit in okay with the dwarves. The hobbits have raised her and noticed that she is slight for a hobbit...but don't they have, I dunno, hairy feet and other tells? So they'd know if she weren't properly a hobbit?

I love your writing style - you've given the story a great fairy-tale like quality, and created a wonderful sense of adventure as Buttercup discovers her world. Hope there's plenty more to come.

ROFL, poor Buffy! Should have just told them all that she'd accepted Gimli. =) I love it! Thank goodness I didn't try to read this during class, as my cackling might have thrown everyone a bit. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

*Lots of giggles* I love it. That was darlin' I am always so delighted when you update this. Poor Buttercup is being swamped with suitors. She doesn't even know their names. Who was the nameless hobbit who gave her the necklace and ran off?

Is Sam going to try and tag along and Merry? I also wonder about Pippin.
