Excellent sequel!
I would like to see a third and final part to this series, a final meeting and possible reconciliation between Buffy and Dawn. What do you think the odds are, eh?

I loved this story, and the precedding one. I love the way you made Dawn into a mature adult, instead of the whiny kid she is often portrayed as.
I do hope there is a third story in this series, out there someone. I'd love to see what happens next. Great work!

It is the first fic with LOTR I ever read and I really loved it. Of course, I began with the first part. It was really great. I was wondering if you have completely give up the idea of a sequel or if there is a chance to read one, one day...

I love both the story's, I've been re-reading everything and it still amazes me. You portray Dawn brilliantly and I can't wait to see if you would write more Dawn/Legolas.

I loved both of these stories and i think that you should make a third one after all you left it hanging *pout pout* but hey thats just my opinion *smiles* I've read this one and the first one at least twice so I'm a huge fan of them.

I just read both Ilfirin Meleth and Ilfirin Meleth II all in one day, and I have to tell you: you are amazing!! Your writing and your ideas were so captivating, I couldn't stop! You did an amazing job with these two stories, although the second one made me sad, and angry at Buffy. Will there ever be a third part? Please, pretty please!?!? Excellent job, although the epilogue sounded kinda ominous. Can't wait to read your other stories. -Druid

I never review under normal circumstances, but I'll do my best.
I just read Ilfirin Meleth and Ifirin Meleth II and I thought I'd let you know my thoughts. I really enjoyed the first story. It was light and funny in all the right places, the plot fit around Dawn seamlessly, and there were no unnecessary details. I hate it when people tell us stuff we already know in explicit detail, it takes aways from the story. I really enjoyed your portrayal of Eyowen; she's like my hero. And including the sacking of the shire was an inspired move, I so enjoyed that part of the book and felt rather cheated when they didn't have it in the movie.
Now onto 'The Test of Ties' I feel like I've been through the emotional ringer after reading this. It was done very well for what it is. Some people don't like angsty fics but you gave fair warning. So I don't think people should complain. Anyway I can't even tell you haw many times I cried during this fic. I may have cried from beginning to end. You gave reason and substance to the emotions throughout the story, and this gave it a rich deep feel that many authors lack in angsty fics. I have to admit I nearly got sick at the thought of Dawn losing Legolas' baby. To have her 'family ' do that to her is so horrifying. I would have liked to see the Scoobies reaction to learning where she was and that they cost her a baby. I think they should be thoroughly made to suffer for what they did, and I would like to read your take on how they would react to learning the truth.
The story hit a chord somewhere in me; it reached a place in me that acutely feels despair and hope. I just had to review it. I've read 50 or so fics this past month and this is the only one I have reviewed. Keep up the good work!

You used hope, despair, drama, humuor, tragedy and more emotions to make a really good story. The language is god and the plot is great, and how you turned despair into hope was very good, because you didn't go for the easy fix, everything didn't have a happy ending just like that. You went to a dark place and I didn't think of leaving because you really caught with the first chapter of Ilfirin Meleth.
To make a long praise short, you did amazing and I'm looking forward to read more of your stuff.
