You know what would be neat? Like, Daniel develops a habit of muttering under his breath about the supernatural, or doesn't feel the need to hold back the comments that wouldn't come out anyway, and then suddenly one day he's telling someone he didn't know knew things he doen't mean to.

Thanks for the memory jog about Kit's identity, and nice to hear that she and Dawn apparently still hang out together, in spite of Kit not having been a Potential. Also, I can absolutely believe Daniel being unusually courteous and inquisitive, after being rescued from a vampire -- not much with the rude scream-and-run-away is our Daniel, even when that might be the safer course of action.

I was reading the forums before posting this story and saw that someone was asking who Kit was. Since she was a very minor character I felt I ought to put the memory jog there to prevent more people going there and asking. Glad you appreciated it, and thank you for this thoughtful review.

This is wonderful. There were so many great one-liners that they all blurred together into just some great dialog. Plus I love the idea of Daniel coming across yet another big dangerous secret and realizing that for once no one is particularly trying to keep it a secret.
