Wonderful update! I really liked that Dean & Buffy weren't over the shapeshifter thing quickly & Buffy's comment about Dean's cheating ways was great. (Hope to see Dean man up about this & quit being a brat--though I'm guessing it's gonna take a couple real Bean convos to make that happen...all I know is, no matter how angry & upset he is, Buffy shouldn't forgive his whoring around--nothing makes that okay.) & I loved seeing Buffy as the voice of reason when they went back to their home in Kansas (hafta admit, for a second there, the title made me think they were going back to Sunnydale). Can't wait to see what happens next! Great chapter!

Really good chapter! It was interesting to see the fallout from the shapeshifter and how it's effected the relationships between the three of them. Buffy seems to be clinging more to Sam and Dean seems to be pulling away. Hopefully everything will be resolved soon though as I hate to see them angry at each other. I also really liked the ending with Dean calling Dad like he did in the show and him allowing Buffy to comfort him. Maybe Buffy will be able to sense that John is there this time so John won't be able to leave without saying goodbye. Well, good work and I hope you update again soon!

I'm generally enjoying this story, and will keep following it, but one thing in this chapter bugged me. You state that Buffy hadn't told Dean and Sam about being in heaven, but she did tell them in chapter 2. Other than that, loving it!
