I didn't truly expect such an insightful and philosophical take on William the bloody(Awful Poet).
Poetic justice in a macabre way

Love the last line, "what's *your* excuse?". I like the use of Death Note, and the fact that dear old Spike's immune to the power of the notebook, but I've got a teensy bone to pick: Light specifically stated he'd never shorten his life-span in exchange for the eyes; he wanted as long a reign as possible once he created his utopia. Besides that, well done!
