SOOOO Funny! Great fic! I don't see why he would have returned the stuff the next day, but I can just see Angelus watching from afar, waiting to hear all the shouting, and the children's tears and screams - and then, oh my oh my, singing?! Gasp!

Oh - and the Irish thing!!!! Awesome!

And yes, Angelus was watching from afar. But when he heard the singing, he just jumped up and started running through those woods towards town to kill the blighters off and...well, no more Angelus!
