Review of chapter "A McGee Family Christmas" from (Moderator)Demona
Review:
The car ride to the McGee house had me giggling and snickering not so quietly (which I can do since I'm alone in the office).

And then Tony's mother - *hugs her* - she is just so perfect and exactly how I figured she would be. And I love that she just immediately pulled Tony into a hug, in the middle of her mother-babble, and the looks that Tony and McGee exchanged. Again with the snickering.

I'm glad that Tony was able to settle in, bond with McGee's dad etc.

And then when they got home, after you kinda assumed everything was fine, Tony just has to drop that huge bombshell about how he wouldn't be able to share with McGee what McGee shared with him.

McGee's response about Gibbs was totally appropriate and the perfect thing to say to Tony.

EDITING:
It didn’t escape Tim’s notice at all slowly Tony followed behind him. “Hey dad!” Tim said as he hugged the older man.
** I think it should read: It didn't escape Tim's notice at *how* slowly - or - Tim's notice at all *how* slowly

Jesus I suck! Sorry for the extremely late reviews. I'm a bad person *frowns*

**********

Yay!!! I shouldn't probably yay because this chapter was angst-filled, but yay for McGee being able to break through and make some sort of headway with Tony!!

I find it so interesting, fascinating, to read your NCIS stories, especially when they come from different points of view. Wonderful. Your characters' voices are always spot-on! And McGee was no exception.

You did a great job with giving us the background of McGee and Tony, jumping us into the relationship without beating us over the head with lots and lots of boring backstory. And then the little pieces that McGee notices, about Tony shutting down, the use of Probie, etc. Great touches! They add so much to the story.

I'm so glad that McGee finally broached the subject of Christmas with the McGee family, and even more excited that Tony agreed to go!!

Thank you!

Yay! I'm corrupted Gibbs/DiNozzo fans with my other DiNozzo pairings. :-)

But I'm still a Gibbs/DiNozzo fan no matter who else I put Tony with.

You've done something, I was rewatching my season three dvds and then *pow* There was McGee/Dinozzo it was the ep with the femme glo hand moisturizer, and mcgee tried to grow a beard and Tony was petting it- how? I never saw that as slashy for them before!

Anyways, aww they are still so sweet here. What is next Tony/ Ducky... Tony/Spike? Andrew?

Also doesn't Tommy seem like one m extra m on a tim/tony pairing name?

Good work.
Comments from author:
Ah yes, the bunny face moment.

Did you notice how annoyed Gibbs was when he told Tony to stop touching McGee's face? ;-)

Alas, I don't think there is any Tony/Ducky in my future. I've read a few but they also included Gibbs.

I do however have Tony/Dean Winchester in the planning stage. That one will also have Gibbs/Dean and Tony/Gibbs/Dean and Tony/Gibbs. :-)

I think I've seen something where McGee's next book had Tommy and McGregor in a relationship and Tim and Tony really were together and they didn't think anyone would pick up on it.

Oh! A few more slashy scenes are when Tony and McGee were talking about watching the sunrise together when they were at a crime scene and Tony said it was very Brokeback Mountain and McGee looked at him and said, "He had me at howdy."

Also, in one ep, Tony said he was pregnant and that McGee was going to be so proud.

you and your good ncis writing making me like pairings beyond my gibbs/dinozzo!

This is sweet, your Tony is so huggably clueless!
Comments from author:
Hee hee... It's my secret goal to corrupt all Tibbs fans. Tony's just so easy to match up with everyone else, it's not even funny.

I *huggle* Tony all the time.

I just put the 2nd chapter to this up so it is now complete. :-)
