I think you should expand on the Doctor, Buffy, and Missing year. It would be really interesting to read. ;)

Loved this :) Very believable to have this happen after the end of Tin Man. (well, before the Doctor showing up - like the trial and all). Gotta love the Doctor :) Saving the girl once again.

I love this chapter. If you weren't already working on so many other wonderful fics, I'd be wishing for you to turn it into an all out full-length story. Kid Nathanial with the Doctor is fantastic.

Oh! that was wonderful. I adore how you write Nathanial. He's just such an amazing character, and you write him so well.

I really want to see more in this verse. It makes a wonderful crossover and I would love to see how living with the Doctor, Rose and Jack affects your Nathanial. He would be different from Nathanial in the books, not having to worry about Gabriel and Raina. He'd really have an opportunity to grow that wasn't available to him before.

Brilliant! I particularly liked that the Doctor got to Nathaniel before the whole lycanthrope/broken-spirit thing.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Okay, I soo want to see you continue this AU Nathaniel. As a result of Nate taking off with the Doctor (or more like the Doctor taking off with Nate) how did this affect Nathaniel's relationship with Anita. Is there a relationship (even if it's friendship) with Anita?

Oh, thank you for saving Nathaniel. By the Doctor no less :) bet they'll manage to patch his spirit up.

Nathaniel's hunger, pain and increasing desperation, and his wariness when faced with kindness is just heartbreaking(understandable, but oh so heartbreaking). His.. /bruised/ self compared to Rose's innocent clueless-ness giving me that extra stabbity of hurt.

Jack, oh Jack. I love him here(not that I don't love him otherwise). The glare exchange between the Doctor and him, Jack's glare back at the Doctor. Knowing how to interact(/Jack/ and non-sexual body language?!!) with the poor child.

And the history lesson, pure gold. So much like the Doctor. Though maybe you meant Roman overlords instead of overloads.

I have to say I skipped chapter 2 because I've got no idea about the fandom. but the other 3 stories are great. Ch 1 was the best in my opinion, and really should be expanded further. I'd love to see this turn into a full fledged story if you've got the inclination or the time in the future.

The Nathaniel story was wonderful as well. It was so sad how he just kept assuming that he was going to have to "pay" for his time there and when he finally began to accept that he wouldn't have to... well, lets just say I really liked the ending with the Doctor teaching him about history.

Wow, I'm unhappy with this story. You set us up with a beautiful first chapter, and then you move on to something else! I'd have loved to see chapter one expanded into a full story. I'd have liked to have seen the same thing with chapter four as well. The middle two chapters were nice, but they didn't create the same aching need to see the story continued that these other two did.

I'd really, really really like to see those two chapters expanded...

Well, the writing is masterful anyway, and the Toclophane thing inspired. The pathos of both Nathaniel and Buffy were great.

Hey...why not combine the two into one story!

You have an excellent 'Doctor' voice, It just jumps from the page. Buffy's torment was palpable. I could gush about this for ages, but I won't! Oh man, this was a wonderful read.
