I really like this story and was glad to see an update. However, for some reason this chapter felt heavy handed to me. I don't know if it was Faith being so, well the scythe isn't here, Buffy must be alive or what.

I find myself really enjoying this a lot, and look forward to where you go with this, how things might turn out for Padma and Harry, whether Terry will make an unwelcome appearance, and how things might go from here on out with the relative happines of all involved.

Love this chapter. The one worry that I have though is when Buffy comes back and a certain twin is falling for Harry that could be very bad. Don't tell me that Buffy is not coming back because you have made to many hints that she is still alive. Again I love this fic please please update this very wonderful fic again soon.

I am really enjoying your story and how we are learning about the family. Please tell me you are not going to start a relationship with Harry/Padma. I was wondering if you are going to explain how Narcissa got so close to Buffy and the family to think she would get to make the decisions. I think I have read between the lines and know that Buffy isn't really dead so please bring her back soon. Go Buffy/Harry!! I have always liked that pairing. Thank you for your review. Harry/Padma is not really happening. The feelings at this point are strictly one way. Harry has still too much grief to even think about Padma in that way. It is a different situation for Padma, she is just getting out of an abusive relationship and is now in a family setting where she sees a father who cares about his children, who actually loved his wife and she can't help but transfer some of her longings onto Harry. As far as Narcissa and Buffy, that relationship developed in an earlier unpublished story in which Narcissa is an older potential whose powers were activated by the spell. I really don't have the time or space to go into the whole relationship, but it did develop over the course of 18 years. As far as the unpublished story, if I ever find my earlier notebooks with that story, I will publish it. But for now it remains unpublished.

I don't know why this story has so few reviews as it's really quite good. Very well written. It seems you're hiding plot points in little throw away lines and that is so very cool...I hate it when everything is in your face. I much prefer to see it come out in pieces and say "Oh...that's what she meant..." And judging by the rest of your reviews, you're doing a great job of keeping it subtle.

I'm assuming Buffy's not really of the dead as no wreckage was found and the twins (and really can't wait to see about their origin) are having dreams of her fighting monsters, so I can't wait to see her return.

I like the way you have a whole new generation of students but you connect them to ones with which we are familiar. I also like Terry Boot as a wife beater (not that I like wife beaters, mind, just saying..it's funky in a good way).

I like the way you have the kids dealing, they don't really come off as self centered..they come of as grieving the only way they know how. Maybe the use of the phrase "Heart and soul" could be ..done now, but Harry's reaction is well done, too. He goes from grief to anger to grief and that's pretty real.

Given Hermione's penchant for being a stickler for the rules, I thought her first thought of basically "yippee, let's yank her back to the living" was stretching, but I suppose you can always explain that as the sorrow talking.

I thought it was cute that Willow "explained" the resurrection in a very Willowy way...and Robbie's reaction was spot on for a teenager who was punked while trying to punk.

I like Abby and Robbie's interactions, the way they relate is cute.

Looking forward to seeing Buffy's family tree explained in detail.

All in all..a really good story.

It's been so long since I read his fic that I had to reread chapter five. It sounds to me from the twins that Buffy might still be alive and that the magic to tell that she is is somehow being blocked interesting. I also noticed that Abby is possably showing signs of becoming a slayer. I really hope that Robby finally gets over the idea of bringing Buffy back from the dead. Please please update this wonderful fic again soon.

The children are not self-centered, only grieving. They just lost their mother and not thinking very straight.

great update...interesting how Harry and Draco are still antagonistic toward each other and they're related by marriage....a suggestion: if you could differentiate between memory/flashback and present day with a different type of font (italics perhaps) it would be very helpful....other than that, i still love this fic, though it tears at my heart each time i read an update!!

When I write it out on paper it seems to be a neat literary trick, when I type it out on the computer it comes across as confusing. I forget that I can use devices such as different fonts. Chalk it up to being new at the whole posting thing.
