Great story... though to me it feels more like a prequel to a much longer story... I'd definitely love to read it if you ever decide to continue with it.
And, great use of that creepy little girl. She definitely gave me the wiggins when watching the show last week and you captured her well.

I like this. THere's to many stories where Dawn needs to get away from Buffy or she's happy to get away from Buffy and her overprotective anture. I think the loss of a sister should affect each equally.

I don't watch Torchwood, so don't know that much about the little girl, she's obviously not still playing jacks and looking for the perfect doll. What is it about little girls that can make them so extremely creepy? Guh. So much creepier that pretty much anything else. even when they're not being particularly threatening.

Going by what I've learned from Movies and TV I should stay away from old Chinese men and little girls. I hope there's some follow up to this. Maybe Spike could go with Dawn to visit Jack :)
