I'm glad everytime I see an update for this story.

The story is written well, but I can't help but feel that Snape needs Slaying.

Unless Xander has some freewill in his Mating (without the whole isolation/prisoner/drugging aspect), then any 'relationship' between the two would be considered rape. I could have seen maybe a something developing against Xander's initial instincts if Snape hadn't resorted to the drugging - that just made any 'progress' creepy. This whole 'he'll have no further use/need for his former life' attitute also shows absolutely no respect for his Mate. Xander is all about his friends/family, and to just steal him away and decide he'll never have any more contact shows he's more of a slave/possession than any kind of Mate/partner.

hmmm I don't know how to reply to that other than 'I totally agree with you' and darn it! Your not gonna like part 8, but after that it does get less and less prisoner-capture dynamic the further the story progresses, just hang in there.
