Intersting, i was shocked in season 3 that a slayer who is so important was allowed to live that way. I was shocked that all of the scoobies...the doo gooders never even tried to help Faith get a better place, even if she would not have accepted the help.
I also think that this (the whole faith thing) is when Buffy seemd to stop caring about people quite so much...about the time i started to become less intersted in her character.
