Parting is such sweet sorrow...

This story reminds me of sex in a way; it's a pleasure, you want it to go on and on, but in reality it's best when taken in brief, intense dose that has a definitive end, with no holes left untouched...

PLOT holes, ya pervs!

Seriously, I enjoyed this one. Looking forward to further tales or sequels avidly.

At one point while writing chapter 7 I thought 'I can keep going with this', but then it occured to me that I didn't want to. I liked where it ended.

A great read from beginning to end. While I have only seen a few BSG shows you wrote this story in such a way that I was never lost, except shortly for the time jumps. Thank you for sharing.

Nice! I always wished that Laura could have gotten the chance to build her cabin, and that sounds like an even better spot than the one she'd had in her sights on New Caprica.

Good work, also, on describing the PTSD that Laura and Kara have to cope with after 'returning from the dead', and how difficult it is to be around people who love them to pieces but who can't really understand what they've been for and why they can't just act like their old selves again.

I had alot of trouble writing this chapter because of those particular issues, but I'm glad it all worked out.

I'm a sucker for a peaceful ending, originally Laura wasn't going to survive chapter 2 because of the prophesy but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I love the character to much and I had to give her her cabin.

Lee and Kara are Lee and Kara. I'm a pretty solid Gen writer so if it isn't canon I haven't written it.

Yes Anders is alive, and mentioned in the Epilogue (which I've just posted).

At first, I was so thrown by the time and place jump that I was I thought maybe I'd missed story somehow. You did manage to tie the two together, and toss in a whole lot of new plot possibilities, too. Can't say I have much of a clue about how they'll work out, but it should be worth the read.
