I like rare pairings. There are several (Joyce/Olaf, Giles/Ilona Costa Bianchi, Wesley/Glory, Oz/Kennedy, and this April/Spike) that I'm pretty sure that I'm the only person in the fandom ever to have thought of.

Very nice. I always liked April, so it's good to see her survive. And your version of Spike is better than the show's but not really out of line with canon, just different. The only really AU element is that Warren isn't a complete and utter scumbag, and that works for me. Hey, anything that keeps Joyce alive works for me, and you did a great job with that. No miracle cure, just a comparatively minor stroke that's a whole lot better than being dead. Beauty, mate.

Sorry, I've no plans for a sequel. I'd rather keep it as a one-off. If I continued it there would be a danger that I'd use up ideas that I may need for my WIP 'Came the Thunder' in which the BuffyBot is a major character. I will be posting that here eventually but it's much darker than 'April Come She Will'.

Great story! I really liked how April was salvaged as a character. She got a raw deal on the show. Also, nice work with the Spike interaction--he's still Spike, not a rabid love puppy like he became in the later episodes. Overall, a very fine bit of work. Thanks for sharing.

I am really impressed with not only the idea of this fic, but the detail you put into Warren's nerdspeak. "The Three Laws of Robotics" Hee. Anyone roboty would have read Asimov and it definitely added to the dialogue.

Thank you! I'm at least as big a nerd as Warren, although I can't build anthropomorphic robots and my wife can't make miniature monorails that run on magnets.

Great Story. A good Warren makes for some ground-breaking changes. Joyce alive. April as one of the Scoobies. Buffy not killing herself on the tower. Willow not overdoing the magics to boost herself up to fight Glory. Tara not getting shot in the future, probably. Now, if only they could raid the Council funds and get Warren to make a few Slayerbot sisters for April to help patrol... (trying to feed the plot bunnies, because this was a great story and it would be interesting to see where you can take it.) :)

I don't think that there will be a sequel. I wrote it for a specific purpose and I think that I'd rather leave it as a stand-alone, at least for the time being, although I suppose that it is possible I will have ideas for a sequel at some time in the future.

I do have a WIP on the go in which the BuffyBot is a major character. I haven't posted it here yet, as it is not a crossover, but I may well do so later.

I must confess that I didn't invent 'fetish_03.gfd'; it's one of the command lines visible on screen in the April POV shots during the original episode.

I have no plans for a sequel. I'd rather leave it to the reader to decide how the Scoobies & April deal with the Knights and how other loose ends are resolved. I might go back to this 'verse later but at the moment I don't see it happening.

If you do read all my stories it's going to take you rather a long time!
