When will it be updated

Just re-reading this story. Any chance for an update since it's been 2 months? :)

I like the story so far. Can't wait to see what happens next :)

If desired i think I could get at least 1 more chapter done to see if that sparks interest.

I am just glad that my chapter(7) didn't cause too much damage.

Hey, don't worry about it. The whole point of this is for people to put random things in and see what happens. Your point could be useful later, someone just has to figure out a way to make it fit in. For now, well they're all in Sunnydale and Jacob is at the SGC - we don't have to worry about him for a little bit.

Thanks for bringing Sam's character a bit more into line with what we see of her in the series!

This fic is beyond wonderful. I was a bit skeptical in the thought of reading a fic with multiple authors; however; this fic is turning out wonderfully. I really like the fact that Faith is much more laid back than in the show very nice. The explanation for how Jack is Buffy's dad is very well done so cudos for that thought ^_^ Please continue to update this wonderful fic, I am very eager to read more of this wonderful fic

Been a while since we had an update here. I thought there was going to be a chapter a week? I like it so far though.

It seems like a real confrontation is brewing between Buffy and Joyce about just how much influence Joyce can exert on the slayer related aspects of her life. I really don't think that Joyce is going to react well when she is hit with some hard truths during that conversation either.

Yep thats exactly the push I was was giving it. Joyce had the summer to reconcile some things. But this is VERY early in S3. Remember Anne was the first episode and that was before Buffys return there has been only 1 SD episode before this. The current setting is very early in Faith Hope Trick which is the third episode and was when Faith had arrived. Joyce IMO is still running on the in charge principle but Buffy is the Slayer. Joss missed some good story points by not showing more head butting on that basis. The closest that he came to it was Dead Men Walking S3e2.

And I agree with the whole Joyce not cheating thing. After all, what's to say they were married at the time, or that Joyce didn't get into an argument with Hank before they got married... or anything along those lines.

Also, I like the way the security guards are prepared to turn a blind eye to Buffy and Co. The idea that the town is that stupid never really sat right...

So roll on Chapter 10 with Jack and Buffy's response!

I hope someone picks up ch10. So far no one has stepped forward. If no one does by Fri night then I might be willing to do the first double chapter and maybe help smooth out a few less urgent items if call. agrees.

I'm not going to comment on the changing characterizations because that's inevitable when you have so many authors working on one story, but could we please try to avoid the ricocheting points of view?

Please stick with one perspective. Jumping from one character's head to another from one paragraph or sentence to the next starts making some of us feel seasick after a bit.

And yes, knowing Buffy's character, the shock of hearing Joyce's last statement would cause her to tense, thus insuring Jack now has a shattered hand considering the fact she was already bearing down on the poor appendage.

Well maybe she just sprains it bad or Jack has a minor fracture. But Buffy was told first to Let go by her mother so maybe Jack gets lucky. Depends on next author.
